Energy Options Network

Energy Options Network (EON) was created to increase and accelerate the expansion of zero-carbon energy options available to accelerate large-scale energy system decarbonization.

EON works on designing and catalyzing scalability pathways to move technologies from promising to ‘investable’.

As most future energy system growth will likely take place in the developing world, EON focuses heavily on technologies practical for application there.

Specifically, EON aims to:

1. Identify niche markets globally that can launch important low-carbon energy technologies and facilitate the entry of relevant parties into such markets,

2. Identify and facilitate potential partnerships that can move important zero-carbon energy technologies to demonstration, with an emphasis on connecting North American energy technology innovators with Chinese partners, and

3. Identify longer-term opportunities to move important zero-carbon technology options to commercial demonstration projects and facilitate the implementation of these opportunities.
